When Chai announced London (about 2 weeks after I saw them in Glasgow) they didn’t announced any other UK dates.  Mmm Chai in London.  Within a minute of the announcement I was on Trainline.com and Hotels.com. I worked out a 2 night deal for £300.  5 months to save, no problem.  I posted on Facebook my mad Idea, expecting the usual ‘Mid Life Crises’ comments.  Instead I got a reply from my brother saying I could stay at his, only an hour by train to London.  Sold, ticket bought.  They didn’t announce Glasgow for another 2 months.

 Sunday 27th

 The train left on time, was going down the west coast and coming back up the East, not that it mattered scenery wise, didn’t have a window either direction.  There was a group of lads heading to the Liverpool game, I had anticipated them getting rowdy but I have no complaints. irritating was the kid that kept playing the theme from Mission Impossible on his phone.  At first I thought heh apt song for on a train, but after 50 more the novelty wore off.

Managed to negotiate Euston to Waterloo and out to Fleet no problem.  This travelling’s a dawdle.  My Brother had a meal ready for me arriving, nice relaxing evening catch up with Brother and step Sis.
